You can also find a selection of crystallized specimen at Paxton Gate in San Francisco and the Blind Insect, a multicultural gallery in Portland, Oregon.
Nothing is killed for my purposes. I find the majority of the specimens I use and what I don't find, I have ethically sourced. Crystals are grown directly on the specimens, not placed and glued. It's kind of like alchemy.......
